How often do classes meet?
Each class will meet once per week for 2 hours.
How much does it cost to enroll?
Enrollment has a one time fee of $35 which includes the intake packet and your first class.
Your enrollment fee is not subject to the sliding scale and must be paid in full at the time of enrollment.
How much do services cost?
Classes are $20-$45 dollars per week based upon
a county-approved sliding scale.
Individul, couple and family counseling services
range from $50 to $100 per session depending on your counselor and household income sliding scale.
Do I qualify for a reduced fee?
A.C.E.S. utilizes a court-approved sliding scale based upon your household income.
To determine your specific cost, you will need to provide proof of income in the form of 30 days income of one or more of
the following sources: pay stub, A.F.D.C., social security, disability, grants, loans, annuities, child support, alimony,
etc. Please call us for specific details regarding your personal situation.
Are there any additional fees or costs?
Some classes have a modest $25 - $35 materials fee for workbooks. If you
desire an additional report or assessment other
than a court-required progress report, there is an additional fee.
How many absences are permitted for class?
California Penal Code allows a total of three (3) absences within a 52 week course.
Absences for a just cause (illness, injury, death of family member, leave of absences) are excused and do not count toward
the total of three (3) days.
If I miss a class how do I make
it up? Do I get credit?
Missed classes may be made up within seven (7) days of the absence by attending one of
the other classes at a separate site of service during the week. Yes, you receive credit for each class you attend while

(1) class per week excluding make up classes.
Is this program
approved by the county and/or courts?
All classes, programs
and services are approved for use by California Superior Court, Family Court, Parole, Probation, CPS and Social Services,
and County Mental Health.
Are services covered by insurance
Generally speaking court required courses are not covered by insurance
but not in all cases. Individual, couple and family counseling may be covered by your insurance or employers EAP with
a co-pay. Please check with your employer, county worker or employee human resources department regarding
your particular insurance coverage.
